Yesterday was exciting!

Yesterday, Emily woke up and came to my room with a big smile. She lost another tooth. Then it was time to get ready for the last day of her Kindergarten life. I told her she will never be a kindergartner again (which makes me so sad because this year flew by so fast).

I took her to school where she and her friends ate their last breakfast together at their tables. They roamed the room with excitement until it was time to head to the church for their blessing.
After the blessing we rushed over to pump it up where they had their final kindergartner after party.

From there it was time for us to pack up and go to Marble Falls for swimming and fishing. Emily was so excited as she has been asking to fish for over a year.

Last night her Daddy and her went off on the boat to catch some fish. An hour later they were back with this:


Yes, her Daddy caught this 3+ pounder.

This morning Emily awoke to feed the ducks and to get in a early morning of fishing. Guess what she came home with:

Yes, she caught her first catfish and loved it!

What a memorable weekend for our family, especially my little princess Emily.


And you ask what Princess Amy was doing? Well...


the only thing I could get her to do was ride in the boat! Other than that she swam away her weekend!

From Daisy to Brownie...

Well, yesterday Emily officially crossed over the bridge from a Girl Scout Daisy to being a Girl Scout Brownie.

Wow, I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. Last night was very exciting. Amy finished her first year of Cubbie's and Emily completed her 1st book for Sparks.

I am so proud of my girls and know that the scriptures that they learned and memorized will be stored in their hearts for all days to come. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matt 6:21

Amy learned 25 scriptures!

Emily learned 30+ scriptures and learned about praying for others and much much more!
